EOGs

I have decided that EOGs are a form of child abuse that the state inflicts on our school-aged kids. Its torture, pure and simple. Forcing little kids to sit for two hours and answer difficult math, reading, and science questions. They're KIDS for crying out loud! I have 10-11 year olds in my class. They shouldn't be forced to sit through something like that. But, what do I know? I'm just a veteran teacher of 10 years who has seen many fully capable students not pass these damn tests because of test anxiety, or they just don't test well. There has to be a better way to assess our children, if that's what the state and federal governments want to do.
